We want to show you what life at our kindergarten is really like. What children do, what they discover, how they spend time together, and what an ordinary day looks like.
Not every day is the same at our kindergarten. And that is where the magic lies.
Every day is filled with play, discovery and new experiences. Children explore things in their own way, ask questions, create, imagine and find answers together. Every new experience becomes part of their own story.
We are a close-knit team and create a friendly and caring atmosphere in the kindergarten. A good teacher personality is crucial to the culture of the establishment, so we select the members of the teaching team really carefully.
I highly recommend the kindergarten. Its greatest strength is the genuine sense of joy you can feel there. Children are free to be themselves and, most importantly, to be happy. It’s not about unnecessary rules, but about mutual respect with clear boundaries. The friendly and welcoming staff, who are always willing to listen, are of course something every parent appreciates. The children have lots of fun and plenty of opportunities to be active, and alongside the kindergarten’s regular programme, they also enjoy a wide range of activities outside the kindergarten, including special events, theatre, ceramics, trips to parks and much more.

Karlín Kindergarten has definitely been the best choice for our son, who is now in his third year there. Over time, it has become a second family for both him and us.
The settling-in process is tailored individually to each child’s needs, which I really appreciate as a parent. The daily activities and programme are so varied and diverse that children never get bored. They often go on trips and visit theatres, libraries, museums, trampoline parks and, in winter, ice rinks. They also have swimming and ceramics classes.
At the same time, children are given plenty of time for free play, which encourages and develops their creativity.

The effective and detailed communication of the teachers with weekly updates for the upcoming schedule, the educationally rich activities of each week and the attention to each child have been just a few of the outstanding reasons why any parent would be happy to have their little one attend this kindergarten.
The setup of the kindergarten also allows for a variety of indoors activities, although the teachers make sure the kids get active outdoors with every possible chance. And the connection they build with each of them makes this kindergarten more than a safe space.

If you’re looking for a kindergarten where your children will be cared for as if they were our own, you’ve come to the right place. We love the warm, friendly approach and the programme, which is packed with activities for active children, while also developing fine motor skills and teaching them lots of new and interesting things.
Our son has been absolutely delighted with his teachers (and the deputy director ❤️) for the past two years. He is always excited to tell us about the kindergarten and comes home with new pieces of artwork every day. The kindergarten is incredibly accommodating, and you can arrange almost anything with the team. We always send our son there knowing that he will have a wonderful day and enjoy it to the fullest.

Staff are super friendly, approachable and English speaking. They regularly take kids out for excursions or trips in addition to extracurricular classes (swimming, ceramics, etc). Our child enjoys her time there.

Start Up Kindergarten is absolutely amazing in every way. The teachers, the environment, and most of all, the approach and the entire philosophy behind it.
My daughter currently attends two kindergartens – one near our home outside Prague and this one in Karlín – so I have something to compare it with. And Start Up Kindergarten is simply on a completely different level.
I love that it’s not just about “looking after” the children, but about genuinely guiding them. Naturally, warmly and with respect. They organise wonderful activities and trips and focus on things that are truly meaningful. They give children freedom while also setting clear boundaries. Outside the opening hours of the kindergarten we offer rental of our premises for weekend events, workshops or children’s parties. Take advantage of the atmosphere of our venue with a capacity of up to thirty people. Two children’s playrooms, a gymnasium, an art studio, a fully equipped kitchen, a changing room for big and small, all in one place.
